04/07/2024 - After some tinkering, I've decided to turn off this project's server. If I have time at some point I may fix it and open source. In the meantime, check my more interesting games here.


This game was made for the pilot edition of MMORPG Game Jam.

Hopefully I'll be able to wrap up it today (02/26/2024) before the Jam ends.

Controls:

  • WASD: Movement
  • Enter: toggle chat, send message
  • C: Toggle stats panel
  • E: Pick up
  • Q: Drop item
  • 1, 2, 3, 4: Select item slot. Press again to use/equip/unequip
  • Click: attack enemy

This build might be unstable. Please report if the server is offline 


Mythic Quest name is a reference to the TV show with the same name.

It works and it can't have been easy to follow the Jam rules in creating it in such a short time. 

A bit inconsistent with attacking. Rats go down easily enough, but other enemies often wander around unable to be hit.

I feel like I should be able to chat with Eland'or - the 'Hello Traveler' guy. Maybe not.
